Monthly sales, compiled automatically into a single dashboard

The problem

Daily sales piled up in the POS, but questions like "which menu items carry this restaurant?" or "what are the weekday and time-of-day patterns?" had no visible answer. Building a report meant exporting CSVs and tallying them by hand every month.

What we did

We built a pipeline that ingests POS sales data and generates a monthly dashboard automatically. Instead of a wall of numbers, we designed a view that overlays sales figures on photos of the menu items — which dishes are earning is instantly clear, even to floor staff.

Viewing it means opening a password-protected URL. No app installs, no replacing the register.

The result

• Manual monthly tallying and report building: gone
• Owners and staff look at the same numbers, so menu and purchasing decisions come faster
• Serverless architecture keeps the monthly running cost negligible
